Fall in the New Jersey Pine Barrens is the one time of year that the Pines become an amazing place to photograph.
This 7,000+ acre refuge is home to many species of birds, fox, deer, muskrat, turtles, frogs, and fish. In some areas there are large boulders along the sides of the river that create some waterfalls. They do seem to come in bunches. There are plenty of hiking trails that allow you to take in the beauty of the woods and water.
